Hyway Gypsy started in 1999 when I first met Ric Martins as he was tuning his guitar. Ric and I have made it through a lot of adversity to get to this day and you’ll find this signified in Ric’s song and our anthem, “Hyway Gypsy.” Hyway Gypsy is about the hard road we must take to make our music. Music that touches you, the listener, and makes you feel something. Music that reaches out to you and says, "Yes, we know what you’re feeling." That means years of work, sacrifice and scars. So is the road to anything worthwhile. Hyway Gypsy is our band and signifies both our individual and collective journeys to get here. We see Hyway Gypsy not as a band, but as our family. Hyway Gypsy is signed to Spectral Tears Records and published via Oneiroi Music. We are proud to be ASCAP members. We self-produce and self-publish. All of our music is copyrighted and registered with ASCAP. Currently we are working on our debut CD "Hyway of Tears."
